Dr. Vicente’s Third Medical Mission Trip to Honduras
Dr. G. Vike Vicente just returned from his 3rd medical mission trip to Cumayagua, Honduras. He was able to perform 37 surgeries during the 4.5 day visit. This year he wasn’t alone! EDOW’s Office Manager, Shereece Millett, was able to make her first trip to Honduras! She helped screen 2,500 patients for glasses. One of Dr. Vicente’s most memorable moments from the trip was when some of the post-op patients from last year walked and hitch hiked all day with their kids just to visit and say, “Hi.”
